El & the Enchanted Forest – Concept Art

For my Concepts of Visual Style class, I was tasked with developing a character and a bit of that character’s world over the course of a semester. The character would be a “proteus,” a self-representation of sorts. Below is a slideshow of my final character, El, with their dragon guide Alistair. El and Alistair live and navigate the Enchanted Forest, learning about magic outside of the hands of the ruling kingdom they hail from.
